Happy Chef was a diner chain in the upper Midwest and they had these fantastic talking chef statues out front. There was a Happy Chef in my hometown in rural Minnesota. Today, only the Mankato Happy Chef Restaurant & statue remain. You can still go eat there - and you should if you’re in town! He is very well maintained and looking spiffy in his red and white. ❤️🤍 He will even talk to you about Mankato and Mankato State University if you hang out for a few minutes 😊 There is a former Happy Chef statue who has been transformed into an umpire in Ryan, IA. Does anyone know if there are any other Happy Chef statues still out there??
