WHATIFTHEWORLD is pleased to present ‘Showing Skin’, a solo exhibition by Strauss Louw curated by RESERVOIR. _ “‘Showing Skin’ is a visual exploration of desire, environment, the gaze and the photograph as an object to possess. While the title is deliberately used for its veiled gendered connotations (part of the artist’s research and interest lies in the representation of the male nude body and its historical homoerotic narratives) the experience of this show is one of languorous romanticism rather than academic analysis.” _ The exhibition will open this Saturday, 30 July from 10:00 - 13:00. _
