I used to be a chronic people pleaser before I became a mom but the moment Georgia was placed in my arms all of that changed. I have no issue setting boundaries or standing up for what I believe in as a mom because it became more important for me to care and protect my child than keep others comfortable or happy with me. I love that motherhood can give us a renewed sense of who we are and what we stand for. My faith has gotten so much stronger in motherhood and I know a big part of that is living for a bigger purpose than meeting my own needs.
