We received an honorary doctorate in Humanitarianism tonight along with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. As we were coming up to today I was grateful to be honored for our efforts with @joliexnoireapparel but I didn’t truly understand why an honorary doctorate was such a great honor. As a person who values education, I’m a firm believer in earning a degree. But when I looked up what an honorary doctorate is presented for the honor meant so much more. To be recognized for your work is always appreciated! What is an honorary doctorate? Universities confer honorary degrees, commonly in the form of honorary doctorates, to recognize people for their achievements and contributions to society. The honorary degree is generally considered the highest honor an institution can bestow upon an individual. JUST WOW! I am #forevergrateful to the Lord!
