growing up catholic, I was absolutely obsessed with the image and character of The Virgin Mary. I always, and to this day, find her comforting...As an adult, my attachment to catholicism has changed and been challenged. However, my feelings about La Virgencita never changed. I always loved doing Mary inspired makeup; to bring out beauty, warmth, and radiance in a woman. Meeting Fedella, she really reminded me of Mary. Not only did her features remind me of her, but her grace, charismatic character, and her energy that brings ease to the room is what really had me wanting to do this makeup on her.
