I haven’t felt as confident and powerful and empowered as I did this weekend wearing only my swim suit as a PROUD transgender swimmer. Swim suit by @nike, who made it specifically for me with TRANS ATHLETE written across the bum. This nakedness both in physicality and in emotional vulnerability is my power, built off of all the trans people who came before me making it even possible. I know that we will win someday. And until then, we fight on.
