We’ve brought you a gift. Another q and a with a @usfws ranger!
Meet urban park ranger Miguel who works at Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge in California. Growing up in East Oakland, California, Ranger Miguel graduated from Cal State University, East Bay in Hayward with a degree in environmental studies and an option in land use management. After 8 years of working at the @nationalparkservice, Miguel made his way to @usfws to work back in the field and be closer to home. Miguel’s advice to those in the early stages of their careers: “Don’t be afraid to be different. If you are passionate about something, continue to work hard and follow your career goals. Networking is important.”
