A note about ritual worship of self. I am learning so very much about myself here in Bali. I am learning so very much about the importance of intentional ritual and the beautiful healing art of worship. i’ve had a challenging few weeks that I have been working through so I decided to book some spa time here at @adiwanajembawan and I am so very glad that I did. my therapist was absolutely lovely and gave me a beautiful massage. Before the massage she gave me a lovely foot bathing ritual which tethered me so beautifully to myself and my own self celebration. It was deeply meaningful. after my massage and mini facial I opened the curtain to find this breathtaking work of art. It is not the art so much that takes my breath away it is the time, focus, intention and absolutely love that was put into this flower bath just for ME. this experience reminded me of my own magnificence. everywhere I look around Ubud ritual joy and celebration appear to be an every day thing. People here smile with their entire bodies. People here seem to take such good intentional care of each other. I know as a tourist there is so many things that I do not see and yet I do intentionally choose to absorb all of this beauty and bring it into my heart. can you imagine creating more beautiful ritual in your life? What would that look like? Imagine that for yourself. It could be a simple as buying one rose and sprinkling the petals in a bath for yourself with some scented oils. or receiving a hand massage from someone who loves you. you deserve it. Because baby you are fucking magnificent too. there is no going back now.
