My new self titled album has been out for 18 days on @wickrecords & @majesticsilk, and I’m back home after touring and decided to dig through the archives and compile a bunch of the behind the scenes footage to share with you. From Mac Demarco admiring our work on Neither Love Nor Money, to me showing @dalarecords & @freddydeboe the horn line I had written for that same song, checking vocal layering over the speakers at @daptonerecords, @dirtydixie laying down some Gizmotron and phased out country guitar, dialing in synth sounds with @lewis_pesacov...photos of chilling at the studio with bass player @bennytrokan on a Polaroid I had brought to the early sessions, and some behind the scenes photos from @sometimespublishing by @sheldon_omar_abba and more by @featherfever...I hope you enjoy this glimpse into the nearly three year long recording process!
