Never in a million years did I think that I would be making this post all ready. Soccer has made me go through every emotion possible. I have went through happiness, hate, sadness, anger, all of it. I have played this sport for 14 years, and I never really thought of the day that it would end. The bond and memories I made with these girls is truly special. They have impacted my life so much and I’m truly thankful for them. I went into this season skeptical and scared because I had just went through two major stress fractures. My doctor and physical therapist said I wouldn’t be able to play this season, however I didn’t let that get the best of me. I went into this season harder than I ever had before. Working my butt off every single day to get back on the team. Running miles every night or practicing outside. I finally told coach I was ready to be back, I knew everyone was nervous because they thought I wasn’t capable of coming back in hard, but I proved them wrong. Having 14 goals this season and 3 hat tricks: my best season yet. In high school I was able to go through winning two sectionals and just having great years of success on this team. I truly am blessed to have been on such an amazing team and I love all you girls so much, so thank you for believing in me and my ability to come back.
