Great few days at the Jobs Summit in Canberra. You could feel the thirst in the room from both government and business to do more in the disability employment space. A big step in the right direction. But now the time for words are done. It’s time to listen to lived experience, invest in building capacity, lift our expectations of what people with disability can do in the workplace, and continue to provide opportunities across all industries to make sure people with disability have the choice to find employment if they see fit.
