All about presentation!
We already know food presentation often times can make or break a meal for toddlers. But how do we know what these unpredictable beings actually want? Well, it’s trial and error!
Sometimes when Eli refuses a plate I make. I take it back to the kitchen. Change the way I arranged it real quick. Turn around and hand it back to him. And voila! 🤷🏻♀️
Now this doesn’t mean I stop offering him chopped eggs though. After he ate his whole egg, I showed him how I ate my cut up egg. Offered him some and he gladly took a piece to try. Exposure is key!

***Disclaimer: This video is a throw back to when our actor was not quite...acting. This footage was reality tv; during our actor’s, what his parents call, food regression days. It was a rough time in his life with food, but thanks to all the cool tips and tricks we share at @eliemma.eats, he overcame those dark days. And is now actually hired on to be our lead actor. Teehee!***
