Our next build for @bajaboundbuilds will be February 24th - 26th. We will need 60 people. It’s a priceless experience! Video & Caption Created by my new friend @powerhouse_pa (1of 40+ new friends I made last weekend, amazing humans!) Picture a single mom caring for 4 kiddos, kicked-out a home by the abusive alcoholic husband/father and forced to live in a shack built from leftover scrap. She works tirelessly for a few bucks, feeding the children while saving enough to buy land for a home. This past weekend 40+ kind-hearted volunteers banded together to help manifest a dream this mother had into reality....a home of her own to house her family, a bed for her kiddos to sleep on, and a lock to know her family is safe when she’s away working. INCREDIBLE and HUMBLING this weekend was. Incredible- what a group of selfless people with full-hearts can do for a family they know will never be able to repay them. I’m inspired by this team that donated their money, time, and energy. You guys are the reminder that good still prevails in this world. Humbling- my anxiety provoking 1st world problems are insignificant compared to theirs. How my perspective has been realigned to remind myself that I live a blessed life not to be overlooked. Health, family & friends, clean water, education, a career, etc..... I’m so thankful! Thank you ERIC for planting the seed and introducing this project to me when we first met only a few months ago. Thank you DENISE and MADISON for organizing and rallying a stellar team. Thank you Bajabound for the privelage to be involved in such an impactful project.
