I legit don’t know what to put in this post. There is way too much to say. I worked very hard on it but couldn’t have done it without the help of many people. Taron recommended me. CAA, Artists 1st & Isaac fought for me. Dennis wrote the best dialogue I’ve ever gotten to say. Dallas helped me lose weight. Amy indefatigably raised our son while I shot this, and never gave up on me at my lowest. Kary & Bradley played as equal parts architect and cheerleader. Anthony, Simon, Shia & Sean helped me get sober. Nana, Katherine & Galaxy made my face and head and provided immense emotional support. Taron infused me with focus and confidence. Michael, Jim & Joe directed the hell out of this show. Natalie & Charisse crafted a mastery of tone. And Dennis is the real star of this show with his writing and his leadership as a producer. They helped me do what I do. I could not have done it without them. There were distinct highs and lows. A high? Eating sandwiches at @turkeyandthewolf . A low? Missing my son’s birth. A high? Shooting the Ep 6 finale moment between me & Taron. A low? Asking Anthony to throw out my bar cart. I give a raw account of some of these things because I want to be transparent. I am lucky to be surrounded by brilliant people. I am lucky to have grace and forgiveness from family and friends. I am lucky that God dropped the acting bug inside my stork’s mouth. This is a good life. This is a terrific TV show. Taron, I hope you and I get to dance again onscreen.
