Welcome to the world, Rowen! He was born last week and I visited for a "fresh 48" photo session before they went home. It was my first postpartum photo session in a hospital since September 2019. The mama really wanted me to be there to document the planned c section and for doula support. But...they aren't allowing it...still The doctor said "what is the doula going to do for you anyway?" Moms deserve support, compassion and advocacy in ALL types of birth during the most profound and important day for them and their family.
