I love hip-hop. This video from 5 1/2 years ago - a Super Bowl party while I was filming I, Tonya - illustrates one of many attempts at making my voice heard through rap. My attempts were finally realized last Friday June 8th when I dropped a 6 track EP entitled Murder For Higher, under the name Signet Ringer. The EP is maybe the closest thing I can present to my actual self, as I play characters for a living. I knew there was a high likelihood of criticism, outright laughter or just indifference and lack of acknowledgment. But this is a personal passion project of mine, and I had a lot of fun making it.
