TRAIN LIKE AN ATHLETE

Working out to make yourself tired is fine if it helps you blow off steam, decompress, or escape for a bit

But any fool can make another fool tired
•
Working out to get bigger muscles is awesome! Every athlete needs lean mass to help increase their potential to produce force and look good doing it!
•
But if you’re not training like an athlete you’re likely not achieving your athletic potential on the field
•

Athletes need to be strong
•
Athletes need to be powerful + explosive
•
Athletes need to be fast
•
Athletes need to be quick and agile
•
Athletes need to train athletic movements far more often than single joints or muscle groups
•
Athletes need to train low reps for high intensity
•
Athletes need to train high reps at lower intensity
•
Don’t put all your eggs in one basket, train to improve all your athletic attributes such as speed, power, agility, strength, size, etc
•
And work with a Certified Strength Coach such as @mikemoon_nlsc to follow a plan and receive proper demonstration and feedback to eliminate the guessing and be as successful as possible!
