My fashion brand Here’s To You (@herestoyou_h2y) will officially launch one week from today! 10 months ago I left Los Angeles to move home to Oklahoma, in January I began teaching myself how to sew, in March I jumped on a random opportunity to move to Brooklyn. Now I’m finally in the home stretch of this brand being all of ours, not just my little project I get to work on in secrecy 🥲 Looking back, every step that I listed out above was an action of me saying to myself “here’s to you” before I even knew that I would start a brand by that name. That phrase is what this brand will always stand for. A me-to-me statement to say to yourself when facing a decision of fulfillment & happiness versus practicality & what external perceptions and pressures outline for you to do.
