Wow, y’all! 🤯🧡 Since there are so many new faces around here, we wanted to say “hi” and share 7 fun facts about us! 👋🏼☺️ 1️⃣ We met on @okcupid in 2015 while living in Portland, Oregon. Our first date involved a coffee shop and a long walk in Forest Park. 👩🏽‍🤝‍👩🏻 2️⃣ Between us we’ve lived in California (Amiana’s home state), New Jersey (Gwyn’s home state), Oregon, Virginia, Georgia (the state), Switzerland, and the U.K. 🌎 3️⃣ Amiana is a civil engineer who specializes in river restoration. She has degrees in biology and engineering, and she has a passion for fish passage and dam removal. 🐟 4️⃣ Gwyn is a geography Ph.D. student studying sustainable food systems. She has degrees in environmental studies, anthropology, and geography, and her Ph.D. research is on farmers markets. 👩🏽‍🌾 5️⃣ We’re literally obsessed with @haagendazs_us. Our main criteria when picking a van fridge was selecting one that could fit multiple pints. 🍨 6️⃣ Our van build took us 10 months, working exclusively on the weekends. We did it all ourselves! 🚐 7️⃣ Gwyn has been vegetarian for a decade, and all of the meals we make are vegetarian or vegan. Most of our favorite recipes come from @cookieandkate. 🌱 Your turn!
