I’m very lucky to be lousy with great dads. My actual Dad, taught me kindness, humor, and the magic of a good pomegranate. And James, thank God I was able to put my claws into you. I’m in awe of the father you are to our kid. Thank you both, and to the many fathers in my life. Also much love and grace for those who have complicated feelings about this holiday. It’s a lot.
