it’s certainly not my first fashion week but it’s the first one where i’ve really felt passionate about a project like this one, our @shopinfinite small business popup at @shopabbode 💖 both as an editor and creator i see a lot of brands and products on a daily basis, but what always feels the most special to me are the upcycled, handmade, ethical, limited edition, one of a kind pieces i find from independent makers like the ones featured in the popup. the personal stories, hours of craftsmanship, and truly unique creativity from brands like these makes me giddy. and yet for some reason, small businesses like this can’t find a point of entry into fashion week — the biggest week in the industry for events, discovery, networking and more. we wanted to create a home for these brands in the heart of nyfw, and that’s exactly what we did. thank you to everyone who not only came and celebrated with us, but showed support for small female owned businesses during the week that matters most. my heart is so full 💖💖💖 endless thanks to all the brands involved, @abbyeprice and @shopabbode for being the loveliest hosts, @sydneyonthescene @andsuch.nyc for getting all these humans together, the list goes on and on BUT! the popup runs through sunday so go check it out before it’s gone 💖 252 Elizabeth St. photos by @lindsayfondo
