“Overslop” (or oversloppe) is an archaic Middle English word meaning an outer garment, like a cassock or surplice, essentially a loose outer layer or “slop” worn over other clothes. It comes from Old English oferslop, meaning “over-garment”
We’ve made a few Overslops recently but this is the first designed as outerwear; double layered with dry wax and quilted cotton. Showerproof, warm and reversible with large, practical pockets.
