it took me a few days to process and recover from what just happened last week. so many ups and downs leading up to this, but seeing it unfolding and having the dopest humans come out to this and have the best time ever was just unreal. i have to say thank you to a few people but first i just want to say THANK YOU SNOWBOARDING. i finally feel confident to say that snowboarding is going in the right direction again, and what we try to do here @dix_strt_jam is 100 % what we believe snowboarding is all about: fucking shit up, partying, shredding hard, being creative and being badass rebels. but most of all i need to thank @chrisomcalps for being the biggest bossman and really holding it down and hustling hard. @jacco_bos_for all the hours of hard labor and logistical planning, and all the shit talking with me along the way. @chrisstin for being the most badass woman i know who had to deal with all you riders, and you aint easy to deal with 😂❤️ @thomasbawsman for having that one dinner with me where we got fucked up and came up with this idea to bring snowboarding back to its roots. obviously thanks to all the riders for coming out. without you guys this wouldnt happen. i love you all so much 🥰 BIG thanks to the volunteers as well, you guys were warriors for those three days, not easy getting to the spot at 7 am and leaving at 10 pm 🥵 💪 thanks to the sponsors for believing in us @monsterenergy @methodmag @bataleonsnowboards @northwave_snowboarding @horsefeathers.eu @bluetomato @rikon_brewery @og.labs.genetics @soundboks @weinhof_locknbauer @dbjourney @hydroflask @dragoneurope @fireballuk i cant find space in this message to thank everyone here because there were too many people who have had so much stuff to do with this event, media, fotogs, filmers, tattoo, graffiti, DJ's, bands, pyro, welders, graphic designers, cooks, scaffolding, snow transport, the city itself, gaper69 etc etc... too much to list up, so i just want to say thank you to everyone who was involved in this in any kind if way. so now my lips are turning brown from all the ass licking so here my last words on this unbelievably deep post: HELSINKI 2023, LETS FUCK SHIT UP!! 🍻🍻🥳🥳
