Allyship needs to extent BEYOND June. Rainbows and LOVE IS LOVE T-shirts are fine, but mean very little when several states have criminalized gender-affirming healthcare for trans youth, states are mandating outing trans and queer kids in schools, and 18+ states that have banned trans kids from youth sports. Allyship is not allyship when it ends when on July 1st. Trans people are trans all year round. Allyship should be year round, too.
