We are forever changed by Scottie June’s arrival on 10/25 at 11:26pm. All of the cliches are true and we could not be more in love with her! It still feels like a dream. I want to thank our entire team @atlanticarenj and @ommamasdoulas for making our experience so special, especially Chana, Jen, and Sarah. After a healthy pregnancy and a beautiful labor process (while listening to the new @taylorswift album!), I ended up having an unexpected complication and we are taking some extra time and space to process and heal as a new family of four 🐶 (Arti is loving her!). We so appreciate all of the love and support we have received and have so many incredible people we can’t wait to hug, thank and introduce our little fishie to over the coming year. 🐠 We are so thankful that everyone is healthy and safe, and appreciate medical professionals and blood donors more than we ever realized we should. We will slowly be posting updates in time and can’t wait to share more! When a baby is born, a mother is born, and what an honor and awakening it truly is to join the club. 🤍 Ps. It brought me the most serendipitous and meaningful joy to photograph my daughter in our studio with my husband for her first professional photos! She has her daddy’s feet and she has been holding my hand since the moment she took her first breath. I think this is my best work yet.
