This is just a quick Description of what happened to me, Full videos will follow 😘 I've really struggled with this post as in my eyes my disability is my only weakness (I am fully aware having a disability isn't a weakness but I'm just telling you MY COMPLETE HONEST TRUTH) If I can help just one person by telling my truth, then that's exactly what I'm going to do ❤ In 31 December 2016 my life as I'd always known it changed forever when I heard a Crack as I sat on the floor with my daughter doing a puzzle. The sound of that crack has haunted me ever since 😢 I ended up with two complete brakes in my spine, spinal cord damage, muscle damage, nerve damage to the whole right side of my body (most of the time I was unable to walk or even get out of bed) aswell as major damage to my bladder that left me unable to pass urine without the help of a Catheter (self catheterization 4 times a day) My surgeon honestly said I shouldn't of been able to walk after this happened & that it was truly a miracle 💫 I'm so grateful everyday that I still have the use of my legs... one day this might change but for now I CAN WALK 🙏 I had spinal reconstruction surgery in 2018 (as shown in x-ray) the surgery was done to stopped my spine from snapping completely but there is nothing else that can be done for pain surgically. For 3 years I was looked after by the Palliative care team (this is a pain management team that looks after people who are dying & in need of extremely strong, powerful medication), so as you can imagine the medications I was on was so strong that I couldn't even be left alone for too long incase something happened to me or incase my body decided to give up 😔 I still take strong medication everyday but with a lot of self discipline & focus I've managed to lower the amount massively 👏 On the bright side My pain tolerance is sky high now 🤣 As I write this now (crying like a baby) I still can't believe how far I have come from then to now but the journeys not over yet...
