Maybe it comes with age, but after the disappointing sweep of our @Yankees by the @Astros, I wasn't heartbroken or furious or calling in to @WFANSportsRadio demanding everyone be fired ("Frank on the car phone" has that covered). I was grateful for seven months and 171 nights of games to watch, and discuss, with my kids and my dad. For the nightly thrill of wondering if Judge would hit another one out during one of the greatest single seasons in baseball history. For a hot July Saturday afternoon in the Bronx these boys always will remember. And for a couple of hours of relative quiet and calm a few nights a week in the incessant noise of our world. So thank you, Yankees -- and thank you, baseball. Now let's go get some more bats so we finally can beat those cheating little punks next year. ⚾️
