In collaboration with The Prince's Foundation and @fashioncouncilgermany, UK-German Connection will be giving 40 pupils from the UK and Germany the chance to go behind the scenes of the fashion industry and explore what the future of textiles could look like. Across five days in Scotland, participants will take part in a range of workshops covering handcraft skills, sustainable practice and cultural exchange and will also have the chance to be part of a wider conference where brands and designers will provide industry insights. This youth seminar – entitled Future Textiles: Field Farm, and Fashion – will take place from Friday 21 October to Wednesday 26 October.
