Next Wednesday is the last day to see 'Silent Spikes'. 😱 😭 If you've been waiting to go this will be the last weekend to make the trip out to @queensmuseum to see this and excellent shows by @asifmianxy and @lawnmowerwoman 💯💥 Included are some BTS images from shoots before and during the pandemic. Can't believe it's already been four months and am grateful for everyone that's gone to see it. This show couldn't have happened without the support of the Asian Art Circle @guggenheim and other patrons. Also grateful to have partnered with @tsqarts during this last month. Other venues to be announced in the future 🔮 As payoff for those that make it to the last image I leave you with an oil painting of a Marlboro Man ad I made in high school that still hangs in my old bedroom. I've never smoked cigarettes but have always found these ads to be fascinating male fantasies that remain deeply embedded in our psyches. Did you know Marlboro was originally a brand marketed towards women partly because they worried smoking filtered cigarettes was too effeminate?
