As a budding photographer in Melbourne, I was doing everything from pulling together teams to do test shoots, going around to various construction sites to document how the workers interacted with each other while building, filming documentaries on topics I was passionate about... I was doing everything, everywhere, all at once, and all out of my own pocket. I knew I wanted to work for a magazine or a website, in the creative department—but I didn't know what that role would be, or when that would happen. An internship and subsequent work opportunity in Singapore led me back home, gave me the chance to hone my skill set, and helped me find my footing in the creative space. As I continued to work towards my goal, one day I realised, I was already doing it. This beautiful city state helped me achieve my dreams of creating, realising ideas, and telling stories.
