I just want to tell y’all... We’ve got the whole damn world sitting in front of us. We reached people from every corner of Louisiana and around this nation. We built the most progressive and diverse campaign this state has seen in recent history. We beat the moderate because Louisiana wants more. Our work is to make sure the rest of the country knows what’s possible in Louisiana if the resources are here. Our work is to engage every community that feels counted out to know that civic engagement is a path forward. While I wish our results were different, every image seen here is a different city, a different connection, for a better tomorrow. They said we ran a social media campaign, we just showed you in your pocket what we were doing in the streets. I’m 37, I’ve learned some lessons, and the future is bright.
