Mahawa Keita @mansading_designs was commissioned to create new work for In:Site 2022 project. Her project, More Than Passing Through, recognised that the Square is much more than a place to walk through on your way to somewhere else. She invited passers-by to connect and engage with each other and with her through the creation of a collaborative textile structure. In:Site gives new graduates the chance to work with the public and learn how these kinds of workshops can become part of their practise and may not be just about teaching skills.
