Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you enjoy this image of the phenomenon called fox fire. A wood eating fungus that glows in the dark and Likely the spookiest image I have. Capturing this image was a challenge to take the whole scene. It took me 2 hours of shooting and even 45 minutes of prep time as I knew once I started capturing each frame f 2.8 and 4 2 minute images per focal plane. If I messed up the composition I wouldn’t have another chance to get it right. I even bumped my tripod just a bit half way thru and had to do a lot manual alignment before stacking to reduce noise and then blending the focus stack. Of 7 finale de noised images.
