Sometimes while working at sea you witness unique behaviour... I have seen many times humans asking for attention and camera time, never an aquatic animal. The only marine iguana 🦎 in the world is endemic to Galapagos islands...so if you are there you don’t what to miss a chance to photograph them.. but most times it comes with real challenges... swells or waves on the shallows can be big and you need to be ready to pay with small scratches ( ideally around your body 😬 rather than on equipment), residues in the water and sun position can be tricky too ..what I wasn’t expecting is that a sealion (feeling he hasn’t been given enough attention) takes my model away from me , pulling the iguana away by the tail ( pic #5 ) to only position itself in front of my camera ... the sealion did it three times.. still today I can’t believe it .. if I hadn’t filmed and photographed the moment no one would have ever believed me ..Amazing moments at sea ... @oceansoulsfilms
