Watch • Black Film Festival Part I, screening Neptune Frost • Friday, August 19 from 8 to 10 PM • In person Set on the hilltops of Burundi, the film Neptune Frost follows a group of escaped coltan miners who form an anti-colonialist computer hacker collective as they attempt a takeover of the authoritarian regime exploiting the region’s natural resources and its people. Presented as part of the third annual two-day Black Film Festival in partnership with the Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center, the Museum will screen this film and offer a curator-led tour of Another Justice: US is Them—Hank Willis Thomas For Freedoms. The film will be introduced by model and actress Lydia Carlston, British American Drama Academy alum and President of the American Friends of BADA.
