Ellen Pong’s “Waffle” wall mirror presented at this year’s edition of Design Miami. The work illustrates the sense of mystery and play present in Pong’s work. The frame is sculpted in ceramic and then carefully finished before applying layers of automotive paint. The paint is the same paint used on hot rods; it shifts from green/blue to golden brown depending on your angle and the light.
