SurfRider Foundation Australia reveals the story behind the two new Paul McCartney surfing videos today. With the help of some of Australia’s best surfing cinematographers Beren Hall, Dave Fox, Jimmy Lees, Lachlan McKinnon, Tom Jennings and Tyge Landa I produced and directed the two offical video’s for two different versions of Paul’s song SLIDIN’. The song is off of his latest McCARTNEY lll album and the follow up album of covers of all the songs on McCARTNEY lll called McCARTNEY lll Re-Imagined. We had so many people asking us how it came about that Paul would make a couple of surfing videos that we decided to create a ‘making of’ to answer those questions as well as sharing some more love for SRFA.
