How do you build confidence in your work?
When i started in the shop, I wasn’t very good lol It took a lot of practice and time to get to a place where your hands knew exactly what to do. Fade after fade, taper after taper, you start building muscle memory to understand a process that works for you. Being in a shop, you have the OPPORTUNITY to get repeat clients that DO allow you to grow and if not that, there’s a heavy flow of clients to keep cutting on. Once I got a decent flow of clients, I started to ask if i could take photos of their hair at the end. The few that said yes, I would take a pic every week trying to improve what I saw in the photos. Overtime you get to watch that progress take place and you start feeling good about your work. 🫡💈
