To protect. To design. With the desire to unveil & uplift the moral imperative honoring the vulnerable, the planet, our health & futures. . Action is the anecdote of despair. Driven by duty, not ambition. Missionary over mercenary. The epidemics. The fear. The questionable choices from brand executives - harming generations. My children. "Toxic chemicals, sustainability, better science - YES, this will be a movement." . On a night in Spring 2008 - a call to action, consumer's plea, a wake up call. A fearless challenge of the status quo - to build a trusted source, a mission, a credible voice. I had to / we had to - start, jump, try, hope, pray, lead. . A bold, new consumer revolution that couldn't wait. The magic of designing a new platform: to provoke, to proclaim, to provide, to intentionally design a new paradigm. Always aligned to integrity, credibility, innovation, impact, justice, access, activism, beauty, truth, honesty. A mandate with transparency, accountability, consciousness, compassion, sustainability & new elevated standards. . So on this day, 13+ years in the making, I am feeling renewed, resolved, & so blessed. It hasn't always been perfect, or easy (filled with pain & challenges) but a gritty, passionate belief in the good, the just, the healthier prevailed. And all this certainly would not be possible without the boundless encouragement and unwavering support of MY family - Jessica & Luke, Evie, Poppy, Josie - you are my anchor, my muse, my reason. .
