Seyoum Tsehaye is a brilliant, brave & beloved photographer who was detained on this day 20 years ago. This organisation is named after him & aims to continue his mission to be a voice for the Eritrean people. In 2013, we launched with this film telling his & Eritrea's story. It is hard to believe that Seyoum now has been detained without any official explanation, arrest or trial for 20 years. It is hard to accept that the Eritrean government has gotten away with doing this to him and countless others for this long. Today, we think about Seyoum and every other hero behind bars. Whilst we grieve everything they have lost and missed out on, we continue to be inspired by their perseverance and love for Eritrea.
