The newborn stage is a big beautiful blur of love, sleep deprivation and emotions. This time of them being this little really is so special and fleeting. For me with my first the newborn stage was a whole lot of emotion and overwhelm. No one really explained about the postpartum hormones and how you would be so in love with this tiny human yet feel completely overwhelmed and sometimes in despair. It was all a blur some of which I only remember because of photos. Before you know it they won’t be a baby anymore and they will be about to turn 6, like my first baby 🥺 Be in the photos, this is your motherhood. They will look back through photos looking for you.
