I just returned from GRODEO and I’ve been trying to wrap my head around what made this such a truly incredible event. Was it the axe throwing? The pump track TT? The stunning scenery? The rip-roaring single track? Obviously, it was the friendships rekindled and people I got to spend the day with out on the trails, but it also hit me; there were no numbers to pin on, no timing mats, no “results,” and it was perfect.
