Follow @edeneats for more recipes ✨ Probably one of the best ways to cook cauliflower. This is hands down the technique everyone should have in their back pocket. This cauli is perfect doused in lots of extra virgin olive oil and sea salt or topped with tahini, zaatar - the options are endless and the flavor is INSANE. This dish is inspired by one of my favorite restaurants in Israel, @miznon_il . The chef, @eyaltomato takes the whole head of cauliflower with the leaves and roasts it is – in a wood burning oven (but we do it in a VERY hot oven 450-500 degrees f). The edges get super crispy and charred, and the olive oil and sea salt season the cauliflower and make it almost buttery. It will just melt in your mouth. I'm salivating writing about this, the flavor will blow you away. If you want to make a star dish at your next dinner party, this is it. DIRECTIONS 1. Pre-heat the oven to 450 degrees F. 2. Fill a large pot of water and season well with kosher salt and bring to a boil. Place the cauliflower in, cover and let cook for 6-8 minutes, depending on the size. Check to see if ready by poking the stem with a knife, and then remove the cauliflower and place on a sheet tray to steam dry for around 10 minutes. 3. Cover with extra virgin olive oil and season well with sea salt. Return to the oven and let roast for 45 minutes until charred and golden all over. 4. Remove from the oven and place on a serving plate. Finish with more extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt. Drizzle with garlicky tahini and enjoy ✨ . . . #cauliflower #roastedcauliflower #tahini #easyrecipe #veggiemain #maindish #veggiedish #wholeroastedcauliflower
