"My ultimate dream is to be a university lecturer when Kakuma finally has universities." Nyaluk, a 25-year-old mother of one, aspires to be a teacher. Her dream is to offer better education in the Kakuma refugee settlement in Dadaab, Kenya, educating her siblings and enlightening other refugee children. Over half of all refugees in Kenya are children between the ages of 4 and 18 years. The majority of refugee students in Kenya are enrolled in schools in the Kakuma refugee camp and Kalobeyei settlement.
