Meat rabbits, grapes, and chickens, oh my! 🤭Ever since eggs, toilet paper, and diapers (! lol, I know, I didn’t NEED those!) disappeared from the shelf, I’ve been working to ensure that my family and community never goes without. But the benefits far outweigh the challenge of setting things up.⁠ ⁠ Our 3 meat rabbits will begin breeding this fall...Jordan gets to do the difficult part, and I will make the stew 😁 My grapevines and other edible landscaping things I’ve planted over the last couple of years are finally producing! And omg are they delish. 🍇I’m pretty terrible at vegetable gardening, but my soil is getting better by the year.⁠ ⁠ And chickens? Well, I’ve always preferred fresh eggs over store bought, KWIM?⁠ ⁠ I realize we’re not meant to share a lot about how we’re preparing for disaster, but it’s always fun to share something that you’ve come about that you NEVER ever would have gotten into before all this mess!😅What are you doing to be self-sufficient these days?⁠ ⁠ xx Andrea⁠
