Perception is REALITY! There are various levels of perception that we must be aware of when we are creating our clients hairline. There is the way we look at someone’s hairline There is the way a client views their own hairline in the mirror And the way a camera shows the hairline. The human eye and brain are a tricky pair. We are programmed to view things certain ways- for example our eyes collect data upside down and our brain flips it for us- so there is aways a degree of correction. There’s also the way a mirror flips an image , and cameras as well. All of these varied degrees of perception make up the reality of the aesthetic. It’s important we look at the hairline through all of these perspectives . It’s pretty weird that people see themselves in a mirror differently then the people looking at them 🤯 Do these things when creating your hairline: - Look at the hairline from all angles while in front of the client -Get behind the client and look in the mirror together - Take a Photo!
