5 years ago today, we were all together for dad’s 60th🎈. by plane, train and automobile chloe, carly and i made our way to the cape to surprise Dad on his birthday. the three of us walked into the house just as he and mom were sitting down for “his” 6:30 national news, a monday through friday non-negotiable for him. i remember the shock on his face and happy tears in his eyes the moment he was able to process our casual entrance and the fact we would all be together for his big 6-0. i wish so badly we could all be together today for his big 6-5. happy 65th birthday, daddio. today we will be thinking of you a little extra and missing you a little more than we already do every day. we really miss the heck out of you.
