It contains a mixture of exfoliating acids as well as Panthenol to offer skin a gentle exfoliation. I have received the old version that still contains Alcohol, which is a shame, and if you have drier or sensitive skin, make sure to get the renewed version! (It should have clear colour) It exfoliates my skin without being too abrasive, but I do admit, that it can get a little bit drying, thanks to the alcohol (therefore I always make sure to use hydrating and soothing products afterwards)
