Partly inspired by Agnes Obel, When Saints Go Machine and an episode of Lost, it ́s a exploration of scale; a cosmic journey in a universe so vast that you are nothing more than a dust speck. Bringing this song to the world took time: First draft was done in january 2018. I performed that first instumental live in Aberdeen february same year. I remember having Moog ́s Mother32 on stage and adding heaps of noise to the track. When I was back in Iceland I then recorded and mangled more restraint sounds from the Mother32 as background layers giving it some color. I then arranged the song further, recorded a wonderful string performance by Donna Hermannsdóttir @_._._._donna_._._._ and drafted lyrics (took a while) and recorded wonderful vocals by DíSA @disa_jakobs . With the song fully arranged and produced, I sent the stems to José Diogo Neves @josediogoneves who was extremely patient with me and mixed and mastered the song, and the whole album, in a intricate way and was willing to go on this visual journey with me and give the song and the album the distinctive sound it has.
