Dance is a huge part of my life and I can’t imagine life without it. A lot of people believed that someone that looks like me could never make it professionally, but hard work pays off and now I get to do what I love as a job. If 10 year old Amanda could see where I am now she would not believe it. I am so grateful for all the people that have helped me get where I am today especially all of you! I truly hope I can inspire some of you to do the things you love whether people agree with it or not. I had a lot of “haters” on my journey and will continue to have them, but it only makes me more motivated to prove them wrong. Happy National Dance Day everyone!
